Is that a scuba tank strapped to the back of that hanglider? (See description below...)
Looking down from a scenic viewpoint at about 350 ft above the ocean this hanglider passes below at an altitude of maybe 200 ft or less. Landing in the ocean may look inevitable, but the updraffts along these cliffs, and the trusty trades give this glider pilot the confidence to travel freely. It wasn't more than a couple minutes later that I saw him soaring several hundred feet above me and heading for the clouds. If he had a scuba tank with him it was probably to help with the thin air where he was heading ;-)
